Why Have a Wedding Album?

Imagine that it’s your anniversary, and you’re thinking back to your wedding day. You snuggle up with your dearest, open an elegant storybook that holds photographs of your favorite moments, and relive the memories of the happiest day of your life.

Now imagine that reminiscing taking place in front of a computer screen or holding your smart phone. Not quite so romantic, is it? There’s something that’s simply irreplaceable about having the story of your wedding day played out on the pages of a book. I feel strongly that wedding photos shouldn’t be restricted to living online or stored as digital files on a USB drive somewhere. Not when you can have a solid, storybook wedding album that you can display now and then pass on to future generations.

• WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK OUR DATE?

A $1500 retainer and signed contract is required to reserve your day. All fees, services and products are subject to Texas state sales tax.

• CAN I CUSTOMIZE A COLLECTION TO FIT MY NEEDS?

Yes you can! Custom collections can be designed upon request. Items can be exchanged for other products of equal or lesser value.

• HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PROCESS WORK?

When you book us, upon signing the contract, you are required to pay the booking deposit. The second payment is due 3 months before the wedding. The balance is due 1 month before the wedding. We use an online system to send out auto reminders to help keep track of when your payments are due.

• DO YOU INCLUDE THE ENGAGEMENT PHOTO FILES?

Yes! I will provide you with the high-resolution files from your wedding and any session we do together (bridal, engagement, rehearsal dinner). You get a personal copyright release to your wedding images. This means you can make unlimited personal reproductions and can use files for personal online use (facebook, instagram, blog, email).

• WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FINE ART VS THE MATTED ALBUM?

The fine art album is our most popular. These un-matted albums are bold and contemporary, with maximum choice and designability.

The matted albums pages are mounted overlay style, with the photo mounted behind a card frame, and with clean cut edges (no edging or corners). Available with ivory or black mats, with ivory or black core pages.

• DO YOU OFFER RETOUCHING?

I do a basic edit to all the images. That includes color correction, cropping, exposure & contrast adjustments, B&W conversion and sharpening. Major edits (removing objects, stray hairs, blemish removals) are done complimentary to prints 11x14 or larger or albums that are ordered through us.

• HOW LONG BEFORE WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

After your wedding, I will send you a link to a gallery with all your wedding images within 60 days. I will typically post a preview of your images within 2 weeks on Instagram and Facebook.
