ABOUT ME
My path to photography started in a film classroom at the University of Houston. I came there to study Film Production, but somewhere between learning to frame a shot and edit a scene, I realized that a single photograph could tell a story just as powerfully as any film — sometimes more so.
That discovery changed everything. I started shooting weddings shortly after graduating and fell in love with the craft of capturing real, unscripted moments. The nervous glance before the ceremony, the tears during the toast, the dance floor at midnight — those are the moments I live for, and the ones my clients tell me they treasure the most.
Nearly two decades and over 650 weddings later, my approach is still the same: pay attention, stay present, and let the story unfold. I'm not here to pose you into someone you're not. I'm here to photograph who you actually are.
MY STORY AS A WEDDING
AND PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
What I love most about this work is the people. Every couple, every family, every session brings something different — and after nearly two decades behind the camera, that’s still what keeps me showing up with the same energy I had on day one.
I’ve learned that the best photographs come from real connection. When my clients feel comfortable, they stop thinking about the camera and start being themselves. That’s when the magic happens — and it’s the reason so many of my couples tell me their photos feel exactly like their day felt.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually on the other side of the story — spending time with my own growing family right here in Houston, soaking in the same kind of moments I get to capture for yours.
