Meet Akil
I'm Akil, a Houston photographer with a background in film production at the University of Houston. Film taught me to pay attention to what happens around the main action: a glance before the ceremony, a reaction during a toast, the people at the edge of the dance floor.
That's how I approach a wedding. I'll help when you need direction and give you room to enjoy the people you came to celebrate with.

You don’t have to arrive knowing how to be photographed. We’ll get to know each other, talk about what matters to you, and make room for it in your photographs.
