Q: What is your style of photography?

A: I’m an editorial style photographer with an emphasis on capturing moments. I shoot about 80% candid and 20% posed, capturing the atmosphere of the event in a stylistic approach to help set the mood of your special occasion.


Q: Do you shoot digital or film? What type of equipment do you use?

A: I shoot digital and use only professional equipment. I shoot with the Canon camera bodies and utilize a variety of professional Canon lenses throughout a shoot. I bring backup equipment to every wedding.


Q: What kind of lighting equipment do you use?

A: My primary light source is available light (natural light). When natural light is not available, I use an on-camera flash – Canon’s 580EX II.


Q: Do we get to keep the negatives?

A: Yes! I will provide you with a DVD of the high-resolution files from your wedding within 6-8 weeks after your event.


Q: Do we get the copyrights to our images.

A: Yes! You get a limited personal copyright release to your wedding images. This means you can print any files you like and use files for online personal use (facebook, blog, email etc.).


Q: How long before we see our proofs?

A: We take time after the wedding to ensure each image is corrected. This includes color correction, exposure & contrast adjustments, B&W conversion and sharpening. We usually will have your photos online and available for ordering within 4-6 weeks from your wedding day.


Q: How long before we receive our album?

A: After your wedding, I will send you a link to a gallery with all your wedding images. After selecting your favorite images and putting them into a “favorites folder,” I will go through and design your album. Once you approve the design, most albums are ready for delivery within 12 weeks.


Q: Do we have to do the Engagement Session?

A: You don’t have to do one if you don’t want to, but I would strongly suggest you do. It’s great way for us to get to know each other better, plus it’ll help both of you feel more comfortable in front of the camera on the wedding day! I’ll even throw in a few prints for you to show off at the wedding reception!


Q: Do you have an assistant?

A: Yes. I have an assistant photographer that comes with me, who is generally grabbing important detail and candid shots throughout the day.


Q: Do you travel for weddings?

A: Yes, I am available for destination weddings!


Q: Can we customize our package?

A: Sure, all wedding collections can be customized to fit your needs! Please contact the studio and let us know if you have budgetary concerns about your wedding.


Q: How long have you been in business?

A: We’ve been shooting weddings since 2007 and have shot well over 100 weddings.


Q: Do you have business insurance?

A: Yes, provided by State Farm.


Q: What if something happens to you on our wedding day?

A: I work with a network of other photographers (who shoot in a similar style), that I can call on in case of an emergency.


Q: What is required to book my date?

A: In order to book your day a 25% reservation fee and contract is required. This guarantees your date.
